Azerbaijan`s National Nuclear Research Center and CERN have signed a MoU
Azerbaijan`s National Nuclear Research Center and the European Organization for Nuclear Research (CERN) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding in Geneva on 23 May 2016.
Azerbaijan`s deputy minister of communications and high technologies Elmir Valizade, chairman of the National Nuclear Research Center Adil Garibov, chief of the Center`s nuclear physics department Anar Rustamov and the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the United Nations Office and other international organizations Amb. Vagif Sadigov attended the signing ceremony.
Under the MoU, Azerbaijan`s National Nuclear Research Center and European Organization for Nuclear Research will cooperate within A Large Ion Collider Experiment – ALICE.
